Aha! So Thanksgiving weekend has already come! It comes so fast every year. I don't feel I've been away nearly long enough to want to come home or to even deserve to come home. I remember thinking about people away at University and thinking that it must be so long for them waiting for Thanksgiving. The Turkey sale has been all that's been going on. Although initially it was pretty exciting, that excitement easily wares off. Like, it was fun for the whole hour that I was shopping and other than that it's just been a week worth of getting home late, being exhausted, piles of dishes etc. and I'm not even the one working, it just kind of runs off at home. There was a week there where I wished that I had written about, it was a fab week; two hikes, party, good food and so much more but I don't have nearly enough energy right now to write about all of that. I watched the kids all day today..from waking up to going to bed and everything in between, including: birthday party, pumpkin pie, soccer and Saturday night Disco on Mountain FM. I am surprisingly a constant energy source today, but am fading right now and a warm bed and book sound great. We're invited to friend's for Thanksgiving dinner so I guess that's the plan. Next week and weekend should be another one of those high's that sucks to come down from. The plan is Tofino( surfing, camping, with church people) - Victoria-Seattle. And I've never been on the island, so it's always exciting to go to a new place. hmmm, I think that warm mug of milk is calling though,
Happy Thanksgiving!
